The High-Speed Recorder 10 (HSR10) is a network attached storage (NAS) device designed for high-speed network recording based on a double 10 Gigabit Ethernet (GbE) port layout. What’s more, to adhere to security requirements for mission-critical applications, this unit is designed with two-layer encryption and follows industry-standard NAS protocols permitting system design flexibility.

High-speed data throughput

The HSR10 handles incoming data through two 10 GbE interfaces, each channel operating at 1.06 GB/s for a total throughput rate of 2.13 GB/s. Combined with the unit’s PCIe Gen 3 technology, data is swiftly redirected to the HSR10’s NVMe based storage for easy and quick data access when required.

Two layers of full disk encryption

The HSR10 offers independent software full disk encryption and hardware full disk encryption-based self-encrypting drives (SED) to ensure security in data transfer and storage.

Large storage capacity

Modern manned and unmanned air, ground, and air vehicles, including ISR aircraft, have ever-expanding storage needs due to the increase in the number of sensors. As a result, the need for large storage capacity is required. The HSR10 is uniquely suited to meet this need by providing up to 16 TB (with plans for more) in the current form factor. In addition, it is built around a network-centric architecture. The HSR10 NAS can easily communicate with similar devices, and transfer files seamlessly.
